In the Swing of It

After school starting back in full swing, I'm just loving all the many great memories of our beach camping holiday scrolling across the computer screen. Must back them up and print some!

This pic was taken one morning when our Miss 13 and Master 11 were on one of their 7am learn to surf sessions. My love put his hand up for taking them to the beach so early for about a week straight...I was quite happy for him to do that :)

But I must say that I really enjoyed coming along early this lovely morning with the cool sand and fresh sea breeze and seeing the kids enjoy themselves in the waves.

Before we left I snapped a couple of pics at home of the Crocus in all their glory.

I love how fresh and cheery they look....and they are so tough!

At the caravan park we stayed at we were visited by a rather large travelling rock!
A really cleverly designed trailer with a fibreglassed rock climbing wall was a great attraction for many.

Each person was given 5 minutes to try their hand at climbing. If you were able to get to the top you pressed the button embedded in one of the 'rocks' which released the tension on the cable so you could make your way down.

Here is our Master 9 making his way down after pressing the button on his third climb up in his 5 minutes. So proud of him :)

And Miss 13 having a go. She did very well too.

Another star attraction one day were the pony rides.....extra special in all their get-up!!

I hope you enjoyed the break over the school holidays and are coping well back in the swing of it.
Happy stitching!
