In the Waiting

What do you bring with you to sit in the waiting room of the dentist's office while awaiting your first root canal treatment?

Your latest stitching of course!

For me that was continuing on with 'Woof' from my Gardener's Journal.

And before leaving this morning I funnelled my nervous energy into baking a batch of banana choc-chip muffins for the kids. The over ripe bananas just said "cook me" this morning!

I used this recipe that I came across a while ago through a friend. They turn out so yummy every time!

As for the root canal treatment, it all went as well as it could and wasn't nearly as bad as I had thought it might be.

Have a creative kind of weekend :)

  1. Hi Leanne,
Adore your stitchery and the cakes look so
yummy too. Did you say root canal? Yes I've had a couple of
those. They weren't as bad as I thought, but would prefer not
to have to have it done ever again!! lol
    Cheers, Anita.

  3. Hi Leanne,
Root canals aren't as bad as one might think...but on the other hand
if we can avoid them, that's the best way to go!! lol. I've had one too.
Love your cooking and craftwork, sweet.
    Cheers, Anita.
